Welcome to House of Quails

We are a very small homestead where we breed our quails and we have also Silkie chickens. At the moment we have two breeds of quails: Standard and Jumbo Cotournix. They are kept in natural condition as much as possible. Young birds are moved outside at 4-5 weeks old depands on the weather conditions. The adult birds are kept on the soft bedding in specious cages - never on the wire as they do not like this. Their diet is based on the special micro pellets for quails with addition of seeds and mealworms. They enjoy also greens from our allotment.

Additionally to quails we also keep Silkie chickens. Occasionally we sell their eggs and sometimes might have chicks or pullets for sale.

Mainly it is all about quails but not only...... There is also Green Shop where we offer also fresh fruits and vegetables from our allotment. The availability is limited and depands on the time of the year. We grow everything in natural way without using chemicals. We fertilise with horse manure and chicken&quail manure. It's worth to check regulary on our offer as we often grow varieties that you would never see in the supermarket.
